PRIMAL TRIBAL ART HOLOGRAMS OVER PARIS
Creation of an Extended Universe through AI-piloted imagery
by the Paris-based Italo-French creator Stefano Dorian

Presented on September 9, 2025, this collection continues the author’s ongoing body of work following previous universes such as Lady Alicia in Red, 1889 Paris Belle Époque, and 1701 Covert Countesses.

The theme of this new series is the celebration of “Arts Premiers” – the so-called Tribal Arts – reinterpreted through AI-piloted recreation of 14 traditional African masks, each projected as monumental holograms above the Parisian nightscape, turning the city into an intemporal stage.

This collection is both a homage to ancestral African cultures and a reflection on the pivotal role of Paris as a historic and global center of international culture.

Dogon Kanaga (Mali) – ritual mask with a double cross, symbolizing cosmic balance.

Dogon Sirige (Mali) – tall funerary mask, associated with ancestral ceremonies.

Fang Ngil (Gabon) – elongated white initiation mask, austere and spectral.

Fang Betsi (Gabon) – rounded mask with stretched eyes, linked to lineage rituals.

Baoulé Goli (Côte d’Ivoire) – stylized antelope mask, symbol of vitality and festivity.

Baoulé Human Portrait (Côte d’Ivoire) – anthropomorphic mask with refined facial traits.

Baoulé Kpelie (Côte d’Ivoire) – double-faced feminine mask, embodying ancestral beauty.

Dogon Animal Mask (Mali) – stylized antelopes, used in agrarian and spiritual rites.

Fang Reliquary (Gabon) – guardian mask protecting ancestral relics.

Punu (Gabon) – white mask with half-closed eyes, symbol of serenity and spirits.

Sénoufo (Côte d’Ivoire) – zoomorphic ceremonial mask with animal traits.

Chokwe (Angola) – realistic mask with scarifications, symbol of authority.

Yoruba Gelede (Nigeria) – ceremonial mask celebrating women and community.

Bwa (Burkina Faso) – monumental geometric mask, linked to initiation rites.

Extended Deployment
As with the artist’s previous universes, this collection forms the basis for a dual extension:

A live immersive event – an augmented reality exhibition where holographic projections of the masks will be staged in physical space.

A digital deployment – the collection will be released in the Web3 ecosystem as NFTs on the Indian Polygon blockchain, distributed worldwide via Opensea marketplace.

Le thème de cette nouvelle série est un hommage aux Arts Premiers – les arts tribaux – réinterprétés par une recréation pilotée par l’IA de 14 masques africains traditionnels, chacun projeté en hologramme monumental dans la nuit parisienne, transformant la capitale en scène intemporelle.

Cette collection rend hommage à la fois aux cultures ancestrales africaines et au rôle pivotal de Paris comme centre historique et mondial de la culture internationale.

Comme pour les univers précédents de l’artiste, cette collection constitue la base d’une double suite :

Un événement immersif en direct – une exposition en réalité augmentée où les projections holographiques des masques seront mises en scène dans l’espace réel.

Un déploiement numérique – la collection sera diffusée dans l’écosystème Web3 sous forme de NFTs sur la blockchain indienne Polygon, et proposée à l’échelle mondiale sur la marketplace Opensea.
